Eeeek an eclipse, bring the children inside, sweep the walk with salt water. Ahh we all yearn a bit for the times that we took it so seriously. Even though eclipses are regular occurrences the have this unique quality about them. Like a scary surprise party sometimes. They come in pairs, solar and lunar, 14 days apart. I like it when they come solar-lunar or new moon then full moon. We get the rhythm of new moon planting the seed to mature at the full moon. That basic lunar pulse happening monthly is something we can balance our digital worlds with; punch the new and full moon days into your cell phone calendar if you have to!

With the sun and moon are Mercury Mars and Jupiter in Libra also. Most read justice, diplomacy into Libra, that idea of interaction with 'other', the collective 6th house. On a private not personal level we are exposed to our expectations and conditions for justice, our own indecisiveness, contradictions.

The epitome of decision, Saturn, is square mercury the planet of communication for this cycle, not exact but close enough to exert some influence. Libra is the scales, all well and good, but you know they don't ever stop, whether weighing your personal transgressions against a feather or our collective actions with our motivations.

This is a 14 day run to sense into our relationship with justice, our justice with relationship. Take a quiet moment just to survey internally and see if there are 'presets' on our internal scales of justice that need updating. Certain conditions and judgments are safe and healthy, no one is judgment free. To stay present with them allows them to be constantly adjusted, not encrusted and forgotten.

We have expectations of form in all of our relationships, conditions of energy; these should be as clear and apparent to us as our sources for news and information in the outside world. We can only truly trust ourselves, others and institutions when we have this grounding. It's like trusting the New York times was infallable. Do we all have some internal reporters we should call a meeting with? Check on their sources?

I will post an election day special, however this new moon is the last before the election, the Scorpio moon this weekend will expose a hint of what will be the Halloween trick or treat; an event focusing energy of the u.s.a. I'm not trying to insinuate a conspiracy, no straight up the cat will just be coming out of the bag the weekend before the election, right now we are just going to get a glimpse of the cat. That is; Osama, Nukes in the desert, a major Asian city in the eclipse path getting bio-terrored or a combination of the three.

The moon is in cancer on Election Day, g.w.Bush is a cancer, and so is the u.s.a, Saturn's in cancer and in the path of the transiting moon. The bottom line? America is voting for a mother tiger protector. More on this next week.
