The new moon early Monday morning PST is in the Cardinal of earth signs, Capricorn. We are given the waxing cycle to survey the foundations of the physical. This vision resonates as individuals, families, tribes and -- whether we like it or not--as a species.

Sun and Moon will both be near the Asteroid Chiron, 'the wounded healer'. No weak exaggeration to say that the developed nations and peoples of the world are getting real life feedback about the energy of healing as a resource. Committing, receiving, or even observing compassion boosts serotonin levels; that magic chemical our bodies manufacture the levels of which seem to define mental health. Recent events of manmade and nature delivered disaster are giving us all the chance to participate in this reciprocal wave of compassion. It's been surprising to see the crust of cynicism crack around the world.

Economies are ruled by Capricorn and Saturn, and this moon is very close to opposing Saturn, the planet associated with time, physical limits, lead and the material plane. Even in this on demand age, when the current edge of quantum physics offers a poly-theory that hints that nothing is real and that we all could be at the whim of vibrating sub atomic strings. Death and disaster require no equations.

This moon will ripen in 14 days into an Aquarius full moon. Offering a chance in a relatively short time to revolutionize how we personally and publicly look at these Capricorn issues. Inside this cycle the u.s.a. will inaugurate a new president and he will offer congress the largest deficit budget ever. We are setting a pattern like stringing a loom. Choose thread and color carefully. .

Tying this 'resource' moon together is the idea of giving. It's the most graceful method of exchange. Most Americans when polled by Gallop say they think we give in the 20% range of our budget to foreign aid; it's actually less than 1%. At this point the people of the America will out-give the government of the united states.

Capricorn speaks to the base of power. As in the art of war, we learn that the better sword is not the power; the reposit skill behind the sword is where the pure power lies, not in the instrument. A bamboo stick can outmaneuver the finest steel. A found bag of nails, a pager, some stolen C-4 explosive and patience can defeat a Bradley armored vehicle.

Realize this moon as a pocket of time to ponder. The motivation of contemplation is first to sit clearly with things as they are, without casting judgments and expectations. The world of natural law is clear once you have a vision grounded in reality. Some things are tough to swallow; wars, cultural/political manipulation, corporate profit motivations that lead to disease and death. Once we have this clear vision then we can begin to resonate change at the atomic level. Get those strings vibrating and bring in change like a wave that affects everyone. Max Planc, a Nobel winning physicist upon receiving his award said, "when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change."

As the Sun, Moon, Mercury and Venus all gather in Capricorn early Monday morning we start a great 14-day run to look at things. They say that looking with the heart leads to seeing.
